Storm Warning

$0.00

SOLD

60x60cm

Acrylic on stretched canvas framed ina beautiful natural timber frame and ready to hang.

Storm Warning was inspired by the changing weather in Ferguson Valley where we live. After a long, hot, and dry summer, we've finally got a wet and cold winter, which we love because the rain turns the hills and paddocks into a vibrant green. The storms that bring the rain come with these intense, black, threatening skies. Sometimes, the skies are this dark purply-blue-black that looks amazing against the bright green hills. That contrast is just breathtaking, and I tried to capture that dramatic moment in Storm Warning.
