Falling

$800.00

60x90cm

Acrylic on stretched canvas (unframed).

In this painting, I explore the theme of access to justice through contrasts and movement. The dark areas represent the obstacles and inequalities many face, while the lighter patches symbolize hope and fairness. The red streaks convey the emotional tension and struggle for justice, with the delicate lines suggesting the fragile paths we navigate to reach it.

As an artist, I typically prefer not to explain my work, believing that art should speak for itself and allow viewers to interpret it in their own way. However, this piece can be seen as a reflection of the complex and layered journey toward justice. The vertical flow, especially the white streak, symbolizes how justice slowly makes its way to those in need, emphasizing the barriers that often stand in its path.

Ultimately, this painting captures the persistent effort of light and hope working to break through the darkness, offering a sense of resilience and progress in the face of struggle.

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see on line may show a difference due to variation between browsers, devices and screen settings.
